In 2021 we made the bold decision to buy this beautiful house near Banyoles and near to our family.

By car you can drive to the lake in 10 minutes. We love walking around the lake of Banyoles and having a drink at one of the restaurants surrounding the lake. For a real good lunch or diner and tasty wines we can advise you to go to Marisqueria Gils or you can go to the city center of Banyoles to our favourite bar; Vivíssim.
If you come to visit us, you really should visit Besalú. It is a 11th century town nearby that is very beautiful, romantic and of great importance in history.
Girona stole our hearts, both in terms of architecture, the delicious food and the great events. And of course the lovely Catalan people. Ask us for tips during your breakfast with us.
Restaurant Can Boix, is a restaurant that serves Catalan food in a very modern way. We love the food there!
The Museum Castle of Gala is a medieval building in Púbol where the surrealist painter Salvador Dali enormous creative efforts were focused on one person, his wife Gala.
Nearby we have a lot of possibilities to go climbing indoors as well as outdoors. Boldering as well as rope climbing. RockArt is one of the many indoor possibilities and at only a 10 minut drive from our house its a good place to start.
